One of our clients has reported the results of using GREEN techniques in their recent renovations: “Doug, I wanted to let you know how well the new energy star items work. Before the new water heater and window units and new windows the electric bill was 399.00 to 425.00 a month. Now with the new windows AC and water heater and dryer the electric bill for the past 2 months has run around 110.00 to 150.00 a month. Keep in mind the house still needs insulation and all new appliances. So it really does pay to go green.” Doug Mayberry has earned the REALTOR®, GREEN designation from the National Association of Realtors and provided these clients with the resources to help them make green choices during their renovation process.
